If you’re looking for a cozy take on a coastal escape, you need look no further than Beach Bijou; This ocean view treasure is proof positive that good things come in small packages on Oregon’s North Coast. Of course, there’s nothing pint-sized when it comes to the views. In fact, if this sweet little two-bedroom, one-bathroom home were any closer to Haystack Rock, you’d be wiping the ocean spray off your cheeks.
Located at the northern end of Tolovana Park, close to Midtown Cannon Beach, this compact abode was constructed with an eye for maximizing views from dawn till dusk. Whether you’re sitting down in the snug living room, preparing a simple seafood supper in the kitchen, or settling in to sleep after a long day of beach explorations, you’ll be hard pressed to find a single spot in Beach Bijou that doesn’t command a panoramic view of Haystack Rock and its gorgeous surrounding landscape. An earthy color palette, wicker furniture and a warm gas burning stove, all offset with Haystack Rock-inspired art and a shell and starfish motif, complete the effect. The vistas keep on coming out on the long, long deck, where you’re liable to sink into a chair and spend hours studying the tide, tasting the breeze and watching the rock’s many admirers come and go.
Beach Bijou is the perfect getaway spot for an intimate gathering with your very favorite folks, be they family or a few close friends. It’s also just steps away from a beach access point, which equals early-morning strolls, late-night bonfires and impromptu seashell hunts made incredibly easy.
The cozy kitchen has all your basic amenities covered, and a small TV sits ready to sate those late-night movie hankerings, but we’re guessing that the stunning local scenery will keep you riveted throughout your stay.
This home was custom-made made for hunkering down, loosening up and gaining a grander perspective on the world. So snuggle in with your sweetheart and offer a toast to the incredible view. From here, you can see to just about forever.

The staff was excellent - warm, caring, personable. The best group I can remember ever working with.
The amenities when we arrived at the property were a surprise and a nice welcome. We drink our morning coffee from the two mugs you provided and remember our stay at the Beach Bijou warmly.

Very friendly and helpful!
Staying at Beach Bijou, we felt like we were inserted right into a picture postcard of Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock! How nice to have an affordable, comfortable property in such a premier location. We could watch the stormy weather from inside the cabin or be on the beach to explore the tidepools within 5 minutes. Although Beach Bijou is very basic - no dishwasher, small beds, older furnishings, it met our needs perfectly. We especially loved sitting out on the front deck in the evenings with our glasses of wine and sitting around the dining room table with our coffee in the morning admiring the view. Hasta La Vista Beach Bijou - we'll be back!

Everyone I spoke with was so friendly. I was very impressed. I vacation in different parts of the US 2-3 times a year, and this has been the best rental experience.
The view of Haystack rock and the Needles was phenomenal from every room in the house! The layout of the house is perfect for a small group of friends or a small family. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It was such an enjoyable stay!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Especially appreciated the call letting us know the power would be out in Cannon Beach that one night, because we had no idea.
Appreciated the worry-free, hassle-free vacation experience. It was also great to know there were real, live property management staff locally in the event we needed anything. Some property managers don't have that...you have to call an 800-number and speak to someone 3,000 miles away if you need anything!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it was clear everyone I spoke with truly cared about making our experience wonderful. The welcome bag was so thoughtful and sweet.
We will absolutely stay here again. One of my girlfriends could not stop beaming and promising everyone she would come back!

They were pleasant, prompt and seemed to enjoy us staying there (even the maintenance who we ran into!)...vs us being a "burden" or being too busy to help us with silly questions we didn't read the answers to in our literature :)
Love, Love, Love...And it is definitely remarkable...please don't spread the word..I don't want it to always be booked!!! Wink wink

It was great! Everyone was very helpful and friendly - a really great experience overall.
The property is well maintained and very enjoyable. Only problem we found is that the house is very small which we knew going in, but probably would not stay here again as we'd like something a little bigger with bigger, more comfortable beds.

We were so pleased to check in early. We got a call the night before that we could come anytime that next day.
Love the view and how close it is to the beach. Also, we love bringing our wire fox terrier.

They were great - very friendly. The complimentary welcome bag with coffee was very nice. We patronized Monk coffee heavily during our visit.
Stay was excellent. The cable TV was down, but that was not a big deal. We did report it upon check out. Also, I think every property in Cannon Beach should have the movie Goonies available to watch!
Thanks! That's a great idea!

I enjoyed their very personable attitudes. I would love to be considered part of your team should you ever need a new part of the crew. As I mentioned I'm considering move to Oregon and I think working in this industry would be very satisfying and enjoyable.
Can't beat the view! This small house has everything you would hope for in an ocean cabin. Surprisingly, being located right on the main street through town, peacefully quiet. Not a large property, not the newest and most chic property but one that really gives you the "beachy" cottage right out of the 1950's and it even has a flat screen and Wi-Fi should you need to look up the best places to dine or directions.
Kudos on making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door with the complimentary refrigerator bag filled with coupons, coffee mugs and fresh coffee beans.
